TENANCINGO SPACES
Living and serving in central Mexico.
Greenhouses growing thousands of roses fill the landscape, the foothills of the local volcano appear dotted with rectangular white over the natural dark green forest. Local artisans craft wooden furniture as well as elaborate shawls. Ten years ago Catholics made Tenancingo a Diocese, occasionally increasing outsider visits to the cathedral.

On the western outskirts lies the San José neighborhood, built around a small military base. The transient nature of military life has left a mark of broknenness in families, single moms and kids who hardly know dad. Crime is high, fear and mistrust are rampant in the community.

We seek to bring hope, light and God´s truth by creating spaces where the presence of Jesus transforms people.
